PLASTEAM was born from an initiative of various Italian Managers to take advantage of the considerable competitive advantages presented by Tunisia in comparison to other nearby nations. They decided to invest in the creation of an affiliate to conduct moulding of TPU and TR, as well as the moulding of various other forms of plastics.

The affiliated company in Tunisia began operations in February 2007 and currently employs 50 people. The administrative and operational management of the facility is wholly Italian.
